An MoU Focused on Future-Ready Education

Saroj International University and Innova Training Institute, Dubai, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to bring practical AI Automation learning into selected undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of Dr. S. K. Mishra, Head of Department and Chairman, marking the formal beginning of the academic partnership.

The collaboration is built around a simple idea: students should not have to wait until after graduation to acquire the AI skills now shaping workplaces and industries. Through this partnership, they will be able to build those capabilities alongside their regular university education.

Bringing AI Automation into Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes

Innova’s AI Automation curriculum will be integrated into selected degree programmes at Saroj International University rather than offered as a separate short-term add-on.

At the undergraduate level, the integration will be available across programmes such as BBA, BCA, B.Tech in CSE, AI and Machine Learning, IT, ECE and EE, BSc Film Making and Script Writing, and BA Animation and Multimedia.

At the postgraduate level, it will extend to programmes including MBA, MCA in AI and Machine Learning, AI and Data Sciences and Cyber Security, M.Tech, MSc Film Studies and MA Fashion Management.

The curriculum will be adapted to the student’s field of study. Business and management students may explore AI applications in operations, reporting, marketing and decision-making. Technology students can work on intelligent workflows, automation systems and integrations, while students from creative disciplines can apply AI to production, planning and digital content workflows.

This discipline-specific approach helps students understand how AI connects to their own career path instead of learning it only as a broad theoretical subject.

How the Integrated AI Programme Will Work

The AI Automation programme will run alongside the regular university timetable, creating one connected academic journey without adding a separate course schedule.

Undergraduate students will follow a three-year pathway with one structured AI session each week, generally held on Friday or Saturday. Postgraduate students will follow a two-year AI Automation for Managers pathway, with one weekly session and six industry-focused modules. The postgraduate programme will use a hybrid format that combines campus learning with live online sessions delivered by professionals from Dubai and London.

The learning will be practical from the beginning. Students will use platforms such as:

  • n8n Cloud for workflow automation
  • Power BI and Tableau for dashboards and analytics
  • HubSpot for marketing and customer workflows
  • Airtable and Asana for information and project management
  • Retool for building internal business applications

Rather than relying on additional written examinations, the programme will use coursework, practical assignments, live automation builds and capstone projects. Licensed tools will be provided as part of the learning experience, allowing students to practise on software used across modern organisations.

Industry professionals from business, technology and innovation backgrounds will lead the sessions. This gives students an opportunity to understand not just how a tool functions, but how it is applied to real processes, decisions and workplace challenges.

What Students Will Gain Beyond the Classroom

A key part of the programme is the AI Skill Passport, a live and verifiable record of the tools, projects and competencies completed by each student. It will continue to update as the learner progresses, providing practical evidence of their capabilities for internships, interviews and higher education applications.

Students will also have access to structured internships in AI and Automation roles. The available tracks include on-ground opportunities in India, remote pathways connected to Dubai and London, and on-site opportunities in Dubai.

The internships will typically run for seven to twelve months and include professional mentorship, milestone-based evaluations, an internship certificate, a Letter of Recommendation and a final Proof of Performance document.

Innova will also provide placement support through career mentorship, job portal access and ongoing guidance, subject to student performance. The combination of international faculty, global internship pathways and exposure to current business tools will help students understand how AI Automation is being used across markets and industries.

On successful completion, students will receive:

  • A UGC-recognised degree from Saroj International University
  • An AI Automation Certificate issued by Innova Training Institute, Dubai
  • KHDA certification from the UAE
  • Accreditation from the Institute of Analytics, United Kingdom
  • Endorsement from Qualifi, United Kingdom
  • A verified AI Skill Passport
  • An industry-focused project portfolio

According to the programme details, students will graduate with their SIU degree alongside an AI Automation certificate certified by KHDA, accredited by IOA UK and endorsed by Qualifi UK.

A Meaningful Step Forward for Higher Education

The partnership between Saroj International University and Innova reflects an important shift in higher education.

Academic knowledge remains essential, but students also need the ability to work with the technologies transforming their chosen professions. Integrating AI Automation into existing degree programmes gives them the time and structure to build these skills gradually, apply them through projects and understand their relevance before entering the workforce.

For students, the partnership adds practical experience, international exposure and an AI credential to the university journey. For Saroj International University and Innova, the MoU marks a shared commitment to making higher education more applied, industry-connected and responsive to the future of work.

Why Practical Assessments Build Confidence

Many students feel nervous when they enter university because they are not used to presenting ideas or working independently. The BTEC approach helps build confidence through repeated practice.

When students prepare reports, present campaigns, manage event-based tasks, or pitch business ideas, they develop a stronger academic personality. They learn how to explain their thinking, support their ideas, and respond to feedback.

This is important because confidence is not built overnight. It is developed through practical experience. By the time students progress to university, they are more comfortable with the kind of work expected in higher education.

How Innova Adds Career-Focused Value

Innova Training Institute adds further value by connecting the BTEC Business Diploma with future-ready skills. Alongside business learning, students are introduced to AI tools and automation-related concepts that are becoming increasingly relevant in modern workplaces.

The program also includes an AI Automation Manager Certification pathway, allowing students to begin developing awareness of AI-driven business tools early. This is important because future business graduates will need more than traditional management knowledge. They will need to understand how technology, data, and automation influence business decisions.

Innova’s mentorship-led approach also helps students receive more personalized guidance. The focus on practical learning, industry relevance, and career readiness makes the program suitable for students who want to prepare seriously for university and future business careers.

The BTEC Business Diploma in Dubai is not just an early qualification. It is a structured foundation for students who want to understand business before entering higher education. It builds academic readiness, practical confidence, and career awareness at the right stage.

For ambitious students, starting early can make a major difference. With the right foundation, university becomes less overwhelming, career options become clearer, and business learning becomes more meaningful.
